This 1920s Colonial home had been previously tuckpointed with hard cement mortar, covering the original thin joints and spoiling the building's appearance. The unsightly mortar was carefully removed, and the area was repointed with matching lime-based mortar, finished with the correct joint profile to restore its historic charm.
